On the eve of National Day, Sinopec Baling Petrochemical Co., Ltd. started an annual production of 50,000 tons of special epoxy resin and its supporting expansion project. This project adopts special epoxy resin production technology with independent intellectual property rights of Sinopec, with a total investment of 644 million yuan. It is currently the largest special epoxy resin construction project under construction in China.

An annual output of 50,000 tons special epoxy resin construction project will build a new annual production of 10,000 tons of o-cresol epoxy resin units, an annual output of 40,000 tons of solid epoxy resin units and an annual output of 30,000 tons of liquid epoxy resin units (liquid ring Oxygen resin is a solid epoxy resin material). According to the plan, on August 31, 2011, the o-cresol-formaldehyde epoxy device was commissioned and put into operation. By the end of 2011, all the devices were completed and put into production. After the project is put into operation, Baling Petrochemical's annual total amount of products will exceed 100,000 tons, and the average annual sales revenue will exceed 2.1 billion yuan.

Zhu Jianmin, general manager of Baling Petrochemical, said that after the completion of the project, Baling Petrochemical's proportion of special epoxy resin products can be increased to more than 50%. The project construction adheres to the road of resource-saving and environment-friendly, and recycles all the waste water generated by epoxy resin to achieve zero discharge of waste water and comprehensive utilization of recycled salt.

Zhu Jianmin also disclosed that during the “12th Five-Year Plan” period, Baling Petrochemical will use the world’s strongest competitors as the benchmark, aiming for the best quality and the most satisfied users.
