As the essence of China's classical furniture, Ming and Qing furniture became collectors' treasures because of their fine workmanship, rich cultural heritage, and huge appreciation space. However, ancient furniture also exhibited fraud. According to Zhu Guizhi, an expert in classical furniture collection, there are generally two types of counterfeiting for wood and wood furniture: manufacturing and using traces, and using pieces of ancient furniture to piece together.
Manufacturing traces: Pour rice swill and tea water on the newly-made furniture, and then rest on the muddy ground outside, let it be exposed to the sun and rain. After repeated several times in two or three months, the wood grain will naturally crack. The paint cracked and peeled off, and the logs were dark in color, showing an old weather that had weathered the wind and rain. The watermarks of genuine products are generally no more than one inch, and many of them are fake. For some furniture that is used more frequently, such as tables and cabinets, counterfeiters usually use steel balls to scratch marks on the surface. After painting, they use a tea cup to burn out the marks, and use a knife to scratch a few marks. It looks like it has been used. Same for decades.
In order to make a paste, some counterfeiters often use lacquer wax to make a fake, and even use leather shoe polish. The newly made paste has a sticky feeling, and has a strange smell, and the naturally formed paste does not feel the slightest coldness, but it has a slippery feeling like warm and jade, such as careful observation, it is not difficult to distinguish the true Pseudo.
Patchwork furniture: often make use of the indistinguishable characteristics of wood types, furniture made of poor wood, and mix it with wood furniture. This kind of nondescript ancient furniture, which has little practical value and lacks collection value, is easily fooled by ordinary people. There are also the use of complete ancient furniture and general wood mixed together to disassemble into multiple pieces, in order to obtain high profits. The most common example is to change a chair into a pair of chairs, which is said to be the restoration of old objects.
Sodium phosphates have many applications in food and for water treatment. For example, sodium phosphates are often used as emulsifiers (such as in processed cheese), thickening agents, and leavening agents for baked goods. They are also used to control pH of processed foods. They are also used in medicine for constipation and to prepare the bowel for medical procedures. Moreover, they are used in detergents for softening water, and as an efficient anti rust solution.
