Pig feed poisoning can occur all year round, poisoning light affects growth and development, and severe death. It is necessary to strengthen prevention in peacetime and cannot be fed with the following feeds.

Germinated potatoes and their stems and leaves. Because the germ contains a lot of solanine, it can cause toxic paralysis in pigs.

Fresh sorghum seedlings, corn seedlings and fresh linseed. Hydrocyanic acid poisoning is often caused by a large amount of hydrocyanic acid saccharides.

Moldy and deteriorated feed, cereal, bran, beans, potatoes and mildew cakes. Pig poisoning due to a variety of molds and toxins including Aspergillus flavus, Gibberella, and rust mold.

Undetoxified cotton cake, rapeseed cake, etc. Pigs are poisoned by the action of digestive enzymes, microorganisms or water after feeding, resulting in anorexia or death of pigs.

A large number of juicy vegetables, leaves, grass, etc. have accumulated heat or become rot. Because it is rich in nitrous acid, pigs are poisoned after being reduced to nitrite after feeding. In addition, feeding pigs with green feed stored in the pot overnight after cooking can easily lead to nitrite poisoning in pigs.

Excessive feeding of vinasse or soy sauce. At this time, alcohol or salt poisoning accidents often occur.

If the above-mentioned poisoning cases have occurred, any of the following methods can be used for first aid.

Intramuscular or subcutaneous injection of 1% methylene blue (methylene blue), 20% sodium nitrite or 20% sodium thiosulfate, such as glucose physiological saline, according to the doctor's advice or according to the instructions. According to the length of poisoning time, the size of the pig, etc., sodium thiosulfate, baking soda, magnesium sulfate and other drugs can be used to induce vomiting and diarrhea to alleviate the symptoms of poisoning.
