The construction patterns of rural household biogas, large and medium-sized biogas projects in farms, biogas projects in farming communities and households, biogas projects for centralized straw supply, biogas projects in rural primary and secondary schools, etc.; biogas equipment, biogas construction, biogas technology The rural biogas industrialization system with biogas service as its main content has taken shape; straw biogas technology, biogas project control automation, biogas power generation, and biogas project Clean Development Mechanism (CDM) projects have achieved major breakthroughs. As of the end of 2010, household biogas accounts for 33% of all rural households in China, and there are more than 60,000 biogas projects. Among them, there are more than 20,000 small-scale biogas projects such as farming communities, and more than 4,700 large- and medium-sized biogas projects. The national biogas production industry has reached More than 270,000 people, all types of biogas production and service companies more than 4,000, to achieve an annual output value of 26 billion yuan.

According to reports, China's rural biogas production reached 16.4 billion cubic meters, about 13% of the country's annual consumption of natural gas, equivalent to replacing 18.4 million tons of standard coal, can reduce carbon dioxide emissions by more than 50 million tons, is conducive to promoting the control of the country's greenhouse Implementation of gas emission action goals. The annual production of organic biogas from rural methane is nearly 400 million tons. By popularizing the “energy circulation model” such as “pig-biogas-fruit (vegetable, grain, tea)” based on biogas, more than 20% of pesticides and chemical fertilizers can be reduced. According to the person in charge of the relevant department, during the “12th Five-Year Plan” period, the central government will further increase the rural biogas investment and further increase the household biogas subsidies standard on the existing basis.
