Daily maintenance and maintenance of numerical control devices

The CNC system is the core of the CNC machine tool electrical control system. After each machine numerical control system runs for a certain period of time, some components will inevitably have some damage or malfunction. In order to prolong the service life of components as much as possible and prevent various faults, especially the occurrence of malignant accidents, it is necessary to carry out daily maintenance and maintenance of the numerical control system. Mainly include: the use of CNC system inspection and the daily maintenance of the CNC system.

The daily maintenance of the CNC system mainly includes the following aspects:

1. Strictly formulate and implement rules and regulations for routine maintenance of the CNC system

According to the performance characteristics of different CNC machine tools, the rules and regulations for the daily maintenance of the CNC system are strictly formulated and strictly enforced in use and operation.

2. The door of the CNC cabinet door and the power cabinet should be opened as little as possible.

Because the air in the machine shop often contains oil mist and dust, once they fall into the printed circuit board or electrical components of the CNC system, it will easily cause the insulation resistance of the components to drop, and even lead to damage of the circuit board or electrical components. . Therefore, the door of the CNC cabinet door and the power cabinet should be opened as little as possible during the work.

3. Regularly clean the cooling and ventilation system of the numerical control device to prevent the numerical control device from overheating.

The heat dissipation ventilation system is an important device to prevent overheating of the numerical control device. To this end, it is necessary to check whether the operation of each cooling fan on the CNC cabinet is normal. Check whether the air duct filter is blocked every six months or one quarter. If it is, it should be cleaned up in time.

4. Pay attention to the regular maintenance of the input/output devices of the CNC system.

For example, the cleaning of the magnetic head in the input device of the CNC system.

5. Regularly check and replace DC motor brushes

Most CNC machine tools produced in the 1980s use DC servo motors, which has the problem of brush wear. For this reason, DC servo motors need to be regularly checked and replaced with DC motor brushes.

6. Frequently monitor the grid voltage used by CNC devices

The CNC system has strict requirements for the operating grid voltage. For example, the CNC system produced by FANUC allows the grid voltage to fluctuate within the range of 85% to 110% of the rated value. Otherwise, the CNC system will not work properly and may even cause damage to the internal electronic components of the CNC system. To do this, always check the grid voltage and control it within –15% to +10% of the rating.

7. Periodic inspection and replacement of the battery for storage

Typically, the contents of a portion of the CMOS memory in a CNC system are maintained on battery power during a power outage. Lithium batteries or rechargeable nickel-cadmium batteries are generally used. When the battery voltage drops to a certain value, data loss will occur, so check the battery voltage regularly. When the battery voltage drops to a limited value or a battery voltage alarm occurs, the battery should be replaced in time. When replacing the battery, it is generally carried out under the power-on state of the CNC system, so that the storage parameters are not lost. Once the data is lost, the parameters can be re-entered after the battery is swapped.

Cube Beamsplitters are available for optimal performance in the Visible or Infrared (IR) Spectrum, with anti-reflection coating options designed for popular laser wavelengths or wavelength ranges. Standard Cube Beamsplitters, which are used in many illumination or teleprompter assemblies, split light by a percentage of overall intensity. Polarizing Cube Beamsplitters, which are ideal for semiconductor or photonics instrumentation, split unpolarized light into

S-Polarization and P-Polarization states. Non-Polarizing Cube Beamsplitters split light without affecting the incident light`s polarizations states.
