From August 30th to September 2nd, the "A Symposium on Educational Methods in Materials Science for Chinese Universities and Industries" was held in Shenyang. Prof. Antony Rollett is a professor of materials science and engineering at Carnegie Mellon University in the United States, a renowned materials scientist and educator. Prof. Yves Brechet is a professor at the Grenoble (INPG) Institute of Technology in France, a renowned material scholar who has made outstanding contributions to the combination of research and industry. The heads of the 19 leading university materials colleges, professors and student representatives, representatives of 6 research institutes in the field of materials science and engineering and representatives of 2 companies, nearly 100 representatives attended the seminar. The chairman of the conference is co-chaired by Director Lu Ke and Professor David Embury.
