International oil prices fell slightly at 73.10 US dollars a barrel on the 23rd

As investors worried about the slowdown in global economic recovery affecting energy consumption, international oil prices fell slightly on the 23rd.

The data from the Federal Reserve Bank of Chicago showed that the U.S. economic recovery situation improved in July, and the national (economic) activity index rose to zero from the negative value in June.

However, market investors' concerns about the slowdown in the global economic recovery have not been eliminated. As the dollar strengthened against the euro, international oil prices continued to fall.

At the close of the day, light crude oil prices for delivery in October on the New York Mercantile Exchange fell 72 cents to settle at $73.10 per barrel. The London market Brent crude oil prices fell 64 cents to settle at 73.62 US dollars a barrel.
