The Knierim Yacht shipyard in northern Germany recently developed and manufactured the world's largest solar small boat. The small captain named Yacht is 31 meters long, 15 meters wide and 7.5 meters high. It covers 500 square meters of solar panels.
It is understood that the power generation board on this small solar boat can generate 103.4 kilowatts of electricity, and only 20 kilowatts of it can be used to drive the ship. Although it was designed to require an average speed of 9 miles per hour, it can reach 17 miles per hour at the fastest. The construction of the ship cost a total of 18 million euros, and it is expected that this ship will complete testing and water navigation within this month.
