On December 2nd, the “2010 EDIDA International Design Awards†China Regional Awards Ceremony hosted by ELLE DECORATION Home Gallery was held at D·PARK Fashion Design Plaza in Beijing. The winning entries not only showcase the unique creative ideas of the new domestic designers, but also make everyone happy to see that the Chinese elements have become the inspiration for the fashion industry.
The event awarded 13 major awards such as Designer of the Year, Rookie of the Year, and Best Furniture Design. Chinese designers won four awards, including the annual design rookie, the best seat design, the best dining design, the best outdoor furniture design, and the deep Chinese style to the global design stage.

Originally thought that soft furniture like a sofa is difficult to make oriental charm. Because traditional Chinese furniture is mainly made of wood, the sofa is completely imported, even the term is.
