However, for naturalists or individual countries or institutions, Monsanto is almost the embodiment of the "monster" and awards the prize to expert-level executives of the "Growth of Genetically Modified Crops Camp". The reason why GM companies and their products are demonized is because the view of the risk of GM crops is often seen in newspapers: eating GM crops, tumors, allergies, and causing ecological disasters are all kinds of arguments. As regards the safety of genetically modified foods, the World Health Organization carefully stated in its 2007 “20 Questions on Genetically Modified Food” document: “The GM foods currently available on the international market have passed risk assessment and may not be correct. Many people worry that genes that eat GM foods and plants will be transferred to the human body. This is a misunderstanding caused by the lack of understanding of the principle of gene action.
