The hotel's "solar glass curtain wall" design is seamless.

China's giant photovoltaic giant Yingli Group of Baoding, Hebei revealed on the 21st that the world’s first large-scale, multi-angle five-star hotel that uses solar energy to build electricity has been accumulatively generating nearly 3 million kWh of electricity. In saving 1,200 tons of standard coal, 3,120 tons of carbon dioxide emission reduction.

According to reports, the “hotel that will generate electricity” was invested in nearly 800 million yuan in 2008. It is divided into two main parts: the main building, the Electric Valley Plaza and the business conference center. The total installed capacity of the hotel’s battery panels is 800 kilowatts, and the annual solar energy production accounts for the total. 13% to 14% of the hotel's annual electricity consumption.

The reporter of the China-Singapore website saw on the site that in the 26-storey hotel main building and outbuildings that can receive sunlit exterior walls, skylights, platforms, etc., all installed "breathable solar glass that converts light energy into electrical energy." The curtain wall looks like a piece of "circuit board".

The hotel's general manager Huang Kunyong said that in addition to using solar power, the entire hotel's heating and cooling are based on sewage source heat pump technology, through the board heat exchange system, extracting the temperature difference of the sewage, for the heating, cooling and domestic water heating in the building. Recycling the sewage discharged from cities can fully reflect the concept of “green, environmental protection and energy saving”.

Baoding is the first city in China to start the construction of "photovoltaic power centralized application demonstration area". Its photovoltaic rooftop grid-connected power generation project has achieved remarkable results. At present, Yingli Industrial Park's annual output of 10 megawatts of photovoltaic rooftop grid-connected power generation projects is 12.4 million kWh. It can save 4464 tons of standard coal annually and reduce 11,600 tons of carbon dioxide emissions, creating “local production, local consumption” of photovoltaic power generation. Apply new mode.

Ma Xuelu, deputy director of the China Renewable Energy Society and president of the Baoding Low-carbon Urban Research Institute, believes that in the case of haze, the best way to promote clean energy or to improve the environment is to fully promote it. In particular, photovoltaic rooftop grid-connected power generation projects are more suitable for promotion in commercial areas such as shopping malls and supermarkets. (Lu Zihao Gao Xinhua)

Basalt Fiber

Continuous basalt fiber (abbr. CBF) is a continuous fiber made of natural volcanic extrusive rock as the exclusive raw material. After melting at 1450-1500℃, continuous basalt fiber is manufactured by special technology. Basalt fiber is high performance non-metallic inorganic fiber, which has unique excellent properties in tensile strength, high and low temperature resistance, corrosion resistance, heat insulation, sound insulation, flame retardant, chemical resistance and electrical insulation.
