The new graphite material industrialization project of Sinosteel Group was invested and constructed by Sinosteel Shanghai New Graphite Materials Co., Ltd. In August 2007, the company signed a project entry agreement with our county to establish a large-scale modern high-tech enterprise with advanced world level in the field of graphite materials. The project plans a total investment of 900 million yuan.
In order to make full efforts to promote the new graphite material industrialization project of Sinosteel Group, the project will contact the county leaders and relevant departments and towns and towns to help coordinate and solve various problems. Our county has set up a county coordination group, and once a month, the regular meeting of the project will carry out the summary exchange of work; the town government specially set up a project service team, and the two team members will serve the whole process and actively coordinate the work in the project implementation process. It is planned to set up a temporary “police office” at the project construction site in June to help enterprises organize foreign migrant workers to manage and handle social disputes, and to ensure the smooth construction of the project. At the same time, Qicheng Town cooperated with the transportation department to actively coordinate the logistics road of the project and the connection of the 318 national highway, and to relocate the enterprises along the 318 national highway. Up to now, 4 companies along the 318 national highway have completed the relocation, and another is in communication and coordination. In addition, the power supply department has connected the project dedicated power supply line frame to the project demand site, and plans to sign the contract in May.
It is understood that after the first phase of production, the company will immediately invest in the construction of the second phase of the project. It is expected that the entire project will be completed and officially put into production in the third quarter of 2010. After the official production, it is expected that the project will produce 5,000 tons of new graphite per year, with an annual output value of about 1 billion yuan.
