Ruian shoe industry orders full capacity equipment running at full capacity

It was learned from the annual meeting of Rui'an Shoes Industry Association that in 2009 the city's shoe leather industry achieved a gross industrial output value of 10.1 billion yuan, a year-on-year increase of 7%, and the total export value was 281 million US dollars. The industry showed a steady development trend. In particular, after the third quarter of last year, the demand in the international market picked up. At present, most of the export-oriented footwear enterprises in Ruian City have already filled orders and production equipment is operating at full capacity.

Ruian shoe leather industry has about 1,000 small and medium enterprises, including more than 200 enterprises above designated size. The creation of brand names is still the focus of this year's Ruian shoe leather industry association. Ruian footwear currently has five main categories: rubber shoes, casual shoes, injection shoes, travel shoes and safety shoes. Among them, rubber shoes have been awarded the title of “Chinese Rubber Shoes Famous Brand” and casual shoes have been awarded the title of “Chinese Casual Shoes Production Base”. Rubber shoes also won the title of provincial trademark professional brand cultivation base. Since last year, Rui'an Shoes Industry Association has cooperated with the Municipal Private Enterprise Association Casual Shoes Professional Committee to declare casual shoes as a provincial trademark professional brand cultivation base and has now been approved.

At the same time, significant achievements have also been made in the application of corporate branding and leather shoe logos. At present, Ruian City has 2 trademark professional brand breeding bases in Zhejiang Province, 8 famous trademarks in Zhejiang Province, 4 famous brand products in Zhejiang Province, 1 famous trademark in Wenzhou City, 9 famous brand products in Wenzhou City, and 25 brand names in Ruian City. There are 11 brand-name products and 59 companies that wear leather logos.

According to Chen Zeyu, Chairman of the Shui'an Shoes Industry Association, after many years of hard work, the city's shoe leather industry has grown from small to large, from low to high, and has a certain reputation both at home and abroad, but compared with other places, there are still A certain gap. This year, the Association plans to organize companies to hold tours at home and abroad to participate in footwear exhibitions throughout the year, and to visit famous shoe companies in Guangdong and Fujian.
