Recently, the “Guihai Province Public Welfare Geological Survey and the Major Deployment Plan for Major Mineral Exploration and the Assembly and Exploration Plan Demonstration Meeting†hosted by the China Geological Survey Bureau and the Qinghai Provincial Department of Land and Resources and held by the Qinghai-Tibet Special Qinghai Project Office were held in Xining. On the basis of this, the metallogenic geological background, metallogenic characteristics, mineral distribution law and metallogenic potential of various important metallogenic belts in Qinghai are summarized. The public welfare geological survey and important mineral work in Qinghai Province from 2008 to 2015 are planned and deployed in a unified manner. In the past three years, new progress and new achievements have been made, a new situation for mine prospecting in Qinghai has been created, and a major breakthrough has been achieved in the past five years. A new pattern of resource exploration and development has been formed in the past eight years, providing relief for the bottleneck pressure of the country's strategic mineral resources and the sustained and stable development of the economic and social development of Qinghai.
