Molding mold

1. Injection molding molds: The plastics are heated and melted in the heating barrel of the injection molding machine, and then injected into the mold cavity through the injection system of the injection molding machine screw or piston, and finally hardened and set in the cavity. This is The simple process of injection molding, and the mold used for injection molding is called injection molding mold. Injection molds are mainly used for the molding of thermoplastic products, but in recent years, more and more moldings are used for thermosetting plastics. Injection molding occupies a large proportion in the molding of plastic products, and therefore about half of the production of plastic molding molds are injection molds.

2. Extrusion molding mold: also known as the head. The plastic in a viscous flow state is passed through a die having a specific cross-sectional shape at a high temperature and high pressure, and then cooled and set at a relatively low temperature. The molding method for producing a continuous profile having a desired cross-sectional shape is called extrusion molding. Extrusion moulds for plastics are called extrusion moulds. 3. Blow molding mould for hollow products: The extruded or injection-molded tubular billet still in the plasticized state is placed in the mould forming cavity with hot air, and the compressed air is immediately introduced into the center of the billet, so that the billet expands and clings to the On the wall of the mold cavity, it becomes a hollow product after cooling and hardening. The mold used in this molding method is a hollow product blow molding mold.

4. Vacuum or compressed air forming mold: This is a separate female or male mold. The pre-made Plastic Sheet is pressed tightly around the periphery of the mold, heated to soften it, and then vacuumed on the side close to the mold, or compressed air on the opposite side, so that the plastic sheet is tightly attached to the mold; After the product was obtained. The molding method of this molding method is less stressful and requires less, and even can be made of non-metal materials.

5. Press forming mold: referred to as die. The plastic raw material is directly added to the open mold cavity, and then the mold is closed, the plastic becomes a flowing state under the action of heat and pressure, and the cavity is filled; then, the plastic is hardened and fixed by chemical or physical changes, and this method is called suppression. Molding, and the mold used is called pressing mold. Most of these molds are used for the molding of thermosetting plastics and also for thermoplastics. There is also an unheated cold press molding press mold for forming PTFE blanks.

6. Die casting mold: also known as transfer molding mold. The plastic raw material is added into the preheating feed chamber, and then pressure is applied to the pressurizing column. The plastic melts under high temperature and high pressure, and enters the cavity through the casting system of the mold, gradually hardening forming, this molding method is called die casting molding, the used mold Die casting mold. This type of mold is mostly used for molding thermosetting plastics.

In addition, there are foam molding molds, glass fiber reinforced plastic low pressure molding molds and so on.
