How to maintain LED explosion-proof lights?

Although the manufacturer provides a five-year warranty for the LED explosion-proof lamp, during the use process, the use of the LED explosion-proof lamp must also be checked frequently. Don't go to the problem, and then solve it. It is often necessary to clean the dust on the heat sink of the lamp. If the dust is covered too much, it will affect the heat dissipation performance of the LED explosion-proof lamp, which will increase the light attenuation and service life of the lamp.

1 Maintenance personnel need to be trained on the job to understand the performance of the lamps and use requirements clearly. Maintenance personnel must possess professional knowledge and be familiar with the product structure of lamps.

2 Regularly remove the dust and dirt on the shell of the explosion-proof lamps and improve the light efficiency and heat dissipation performance of the lamps. The cleaning method can be based on the protection ability of the lamp housing, using water spray (above the mark on the lamp) or wipe with a damp cloth. When spraying water, the power supply should be cut off. It is strictly forbidden to wipe the plastic shell (transparent part) of the lamp with a dry cloth to prevent static electricity.

3 Check the plastic case (transparent part) of the lamp for severe discoloration. If the discoloration is severe, the plastic has deteriorated. Check the transparent parts for signs of impact by foreign objects, and the protective net for looseness, desoldering, and corrosion. If there is, it should be stopped and repaired and replaced in time.

4 When the light source is damaged, the light should be turned off in time to notify the replacement, so as not to cause the ballast and other electrical components to be in an abnormal state for a long time because the light source cannot be started.

5 If there is any water accumulated in the lamp cavity of the lamp used in a humid environment, it should be removed in time, and the sealing parts should be replaced to ensure the protective performance of the housing.

6 When opening the lamp cover, open the cover after disconnecting the power according to the requirements of the warning sign.

7 After opening the cover, check whether the flameproof joint surface is intact, whether the rubber seal is hard or sticky, whether the wire insulation is green and carbonized, and whether the insulation and electrical components are deformed and scorched. If these problems are found, they should be repaired and replaced in time.

8 The model, specifications, dimensions, and performance of the light source, parts, and electrical components after repair and replacement shall be exactly the same as those of the light source, parts, and electrical components before repair and replacement.

9 Before closing the cover, use a damp cloth (not too wet) to gently wipe the light return and transparent parts of the lamp to improve the light efficiency of the lamp. A layer of 204-1 replacement anti-rust oil should be thinly coated on the flameproof joint surface. When closing the cover, pay attention to whether the sealing ring plays a sealing role in the original position.

10 Sealed parts of lamps should not be disassembled and opened frequently.
