1. Features and uses
This series of relays is used as a starting element for motors, transformers, transmission line overload and short circuit protection. The relay has both time-delay and quick-break protection. The current I is continuously greater than Idz (the set timing limit overcurrent protection current value), and the relay is activated after the elapse of time T (set action delay time). If the current I is greater than N times (speed override) Idz, the relay does not delay immediately
The operating current range of this series of relays is from 0.1A to 9.9A. When it exceeds 9.9A, it may be saturated and the measurement accuracy will be reduced, but the relay will not be damaged. This series of relays allows a maximum of 100A / 1 second or 50A / 10 seconds overload. If the protection current is greater than 9.9A, it is recommended to access the relay through the CT. When the user uses the relay, the following three parameters need to be set:
1) Definite time protection current Idz
2) The quick override ratio N, when the input current I>N*Idz, the relay immediately operates.
3) Definite time T, the current is continuously greater than Idz, after the time T, the relay acts.

(1). Auxiliary power supply: 85~260V AC and DC universal.
(2). Protection current range: 0.1A~9.9A, maximum allowable 100A/1 second or 50A/10 second overload.
(3). Current frequency: 45~65Hz.
(4). Quick action magnification N setting range: 2~99, but it is necessary to ensure the accuracy of N*Idz.
(5). Quick-break action time: less than 0.1 second.
(6). Timing delay error: less than 0.1 second.
(7). Contact capacity: 5A can be switched on for a long time, 250VDC can be disconnected at the maximum τ=5ms 50W DC sense load can be disconnected 250VAC COSΦ=0.4, 250VA AC load.
4. Precautions
(1). The setting value Idzf refers to the current of the input relay (the current measured by the current transformer of the protected object). If the current of the input relay is greater than 10A, the internal current transformer of the relay will be saturated.
(2). The signal contact is reset by the reset button on the relay.
