In the past 10 years, the overall level of China's aluminum industry has also caught up with the international leading level, the equipment level has increased rapidly, and the energy consumption level has been greatly reduced.

In 2007, the country's first aluminum electrolysis technology innovation strategic alliance was established in Henan. It was participated by 15 electrolytic aluminum enterprises in Henan and 15 well-known institutions and research institutes in China, and became one of the 17 key alliances identified by the Ministry of Science and Technology. .
