After being cured, the thermosetting resin matrix composite materials can't be softened, so the heat-resistance is very stable. Making test with load of 1.86PMa, generally the thermal deformation temperature at 150-260ºC, and fiber reinforded thermosetting plastics belongs to excellent thermal insulation material, its thermal conductivity is 0.35-0.47W/(m.k), which is just 1/100-1/1000 of metal. It can be used as good insulating material and instantaneous high temperature resistant material. Thermal deformation temperature of this material can reach 350 degree so that it can be used as normal temperature and high temperature structural materials.
