China Federation of Logistics and Purchasing released April CFLP China Manufacturing PMI was 53.5%
According to China Logistics and Purchasing Network, in April 2009, China Federation of Logistics and Purchasing (CFLP) China Manufacturing Purchasing Managers Index (PMI) was 53.5%, up 1.1 percentage points from the previous month. The establishment of the CFLP China Manufacturing PMI Index has received strong support from the Hong Kong Li & Fung Group.
The manufacturing PMI is a composite index that is weighted by five major diffusion indices in accordance with internationally accepted practices. Usually the PMI index is above 50%, reflecting the overall expansion of the economy; below 50%, reflecting the economic recession.
China's manufacturing PMI index continued to pick up this month. Compared with the previous month, in the PMI index system, the finished goods inventory index, raw material inventory index and supplier delivery time index decreased, while the other indexes kept rising, but the increase was narrowed, mostly within 2 percentage points. Among them, the production index and the new order index rose by 0.5 and 2.0 percentage points respectively, reaching 57.4% and 56.6%, and remained above 50% for three consecutive months; the purchase price index rose by 3.0 percentage points to 51.3%, since last September. For the first time, it has broken through 50%; the employee index has risen by 1.7 percentage points to 50.3%, and it has exceeded 50% for the first time since October last year.
In the 20 industries this month, 15 industries including electrical machinery and equipment manufacturing, transportation equipment manufacturing, and beverage manufacturing are higher than 50%; metal products, tobacco products, chemical raw materials and chemical products manufacturing, and pharmaceutical manufacturing. Industry, wood processing and furniture manufacturing industries are less than 50%.
In response to the survey of manufacturing purchasing managers in April, special analyst Zhang Liqun said: "The PMI index in April indicates that China's economy will continue to pick up. From the perspective of investment, consumption and export growth in the first quarter, it also indicates this. Trends. In March, China's industrial growth rate increased from 3.8% in January-February to 8.3%, showing a significant increase, indicating that the economic recovery trend reflected by the PMI index after December is correct. The PMI index indicates the economy earlier. The emergence of the turning point is becoming an important leading indicator of the economic trend."
The new order index continued to rise, staying above 50% for three consecutive months. The new orders index for the month was 56.6%, up 2.0 percentage points from the previous month. Among the 20 industries, electrical machinery and equipment manufacturing, transportation equipment manufacturing, beverage manufacturing, paper printing, cultural and educational sporting goods manufacturing, non-metallic mineral products, general equipment manufacturing, non-ferrous metal smelting and rolling processing The top 15 industries are above 50%, of which 7 industries are more than 60%; tobacco products, ferrous metal smelting and rolling processing, chemical raw materials and chemical manufacturing, pharmaceutical manufacturing, wood processing and furniture manufacturing 5 industries are below 50%.

The industry, textile industry, chemical raw materials and chemical products manufacturing industry are more than 50%, and the six industries are more than 60%, especially in the petroleum processing and coking industry, which is 75%. The tobacco products industry is located. 50%; communication equipment computer and other electronic equipment manufacturing, clothing and footwear manufacturing and fur down products industry, transportation equipment manufacturing industry and other 10 industries are less than 50%.
ASME B16.5 has endorsed the design of long welding neck flange (LWN), which is also known as straight hub welding flange. The LWN flange is constructed by two sections: the upper section is a heavy-wall barrel, whilst the lower section is a disc-like Plate Flange with all dimensions conforming to ASME B16.5 standard flanges.
Application
The long welding neck flange is mainly applied to the construction of pressure vessel functioning as a nozzle (such as a thermowell nozzle). To attach a common welding neck flange to a pressure vessel, a piece of pipe is required with additional welding. A LWN flange on the other hand attaches directly to the vessel, hence, it can be viewed as an integrally reinforced nozzle. It avoids making a weld seam at pipe to flange and provides self-reinforcement.
