When using this type of jig to turn the inner clamp type soft claw, the hydraulic chuck should be opened to the maximum, and the position of the soft claw on the claw seat should be adjusted according to the diameter of the workpiece being clamped. Measure the distance from the center of the hydraulic chuck to the countersunk of the soft-claw Screw and select the fixture that matches its size. Then, the two slider-type fixing pins 2 on the jig are respectively inserted into the screw counterbore of the two soft claws 3 in the lower part of the hydraulic chuck. The left hand grips the clip 1 to rotate left and right, so that the remaining one of the slider type fixing pins 2 is aligned with the screw counterbore of the third soft claw of the upper portion of the chuck, and the right hand presses the slider type fixing pin 2 into the counterbore. Press the clamp 1 with both hands to make the clamp close to each soft claw. Then repeatedly open and close the hydraulic chuck, rotate the clamp 1 to the left and right sides, adjust the position of the slider-type fixing pin 2 in the arc groove, and try to make the position of the soft-claw clamping clamp close to the center of the soft-claw stroke. After the above steps are completed, the hydraulic chuck can be clamped and the clamping surface of the soft jaws is turned.
The clamp can also replace the different size specifications of the collar to fix the outer clamp type soft claw, and realize the turning processing of the external clamp type soft claw.
