Japan develops 3D printing new materials, soft and easy to paint, and feels realistic

According to Japanese media reports, recently, Mitsubishi Chemical of Japan has successfully developed a 3D printer that can be used to make three-dimensional objects, which can print new materials like rubber-like objects. When using this material, when making a doll or an organ model, etc., it is possible to reproduce a realistic touch that is closer to the real thing, and it is easier to apply.

According to reports, at present, most personal 3D printers use a resin wire to be thermally melted and then spray-printed from a nozzle. Previously, the resin used to make toy blocks was used, and it hardened after molding.

The resin wire manufactured by Mitsubishi Chemical uses a polyester resin used for the production of ballpoint pens and the like as a raw material. Although the printer nozzle may be blocked by soft resin, the company uses unique molding techniques to avoid such problems.
