Strong rebound

According to statistics, in the first half of last year, the average profit rate of 30% of textile enterprises in the province was below 3%, and the average profit rate of 60% of the enterprises was only 0.73%. There were 124 loss-making enterprises in the textile enterprises above the designated size in the province, an increase of 8.77% year-on-year, with a loss of 10.39%.

In the second half of 2009, in the context of economic recovery, textile companies also began to pick up. According to statistics, in 2009, textile enterprises above designated size in Henan Province achieved a total sales income of 133.68 billion yuan and a profit of 11.94 billion yuan, an increase of 4.36 times year-on-year. However, all this has only just begun. The next good situation is beyond everyone’s expectation.

"After years, orders will continue to increase. Now our production is already at the end of the year. If our production capacity is not limited, we must have more orders," said a person in charge of Anyang Linzhou Textile Company.

After 2010, the province's large and small textile enterprises were all fully powered, but they still could not meet the demand for orders. Equipment that was discontinued during the economic crisis has also been restarted, and the textile industry has experienced an unprecedented spring.

Wang Guogang, general manager of China Yarn Network, told reporters that the website received more than 200 requests for information every day. At present, the number of purchases on the yarn web is still on the rise.

Insufficient start-up leads to shortage

“The current good situation in the textile industry is mainly caused by the contradiction between supply and demand in the market.” Zhang Junfeng, deputy general manager of Luoyang Baima Group, believes that “Henan's textile base is relatively good. After the economic crisis, production capacity recovered more quickly and orders were gradually tilted toward Henan.”

Affected by the global financial crisis in 2008, the demand for yarns at home and abroad has shrunk. Since the economic recovery in October 2009, there have been periodical expansions in both international and domestic markets, and a large number of downstream companies have ordered orders to make up the bank. This also caused the short-term concentration demand of cotton yarns, which made the textile market appear rare scenes.

"Currently, the shortage of products is mainly due to insufficient start-ups of enterprises. Many companies are underemployed due to the lack of labor force in textile mills. This phenomenon may not be particularly apparent in Henan, but in Zhejiang and Fujian, this phenomenon has been very serious." Wang Guogang said.

Since the beginning of this year, the rising tide of salary has spread from the south to the north and has swept across the country. Workers’ salaries have been rising so fast that the phenomenon of difficulty in recruiting textile companies has become common. Many textile companies in the south have “work shortages”. Due to the abundant labor resources, Henan has a relatively prominent advantage in employment. This advantage is crucial when orders are full and demand exceeds supply.

"Buying up or not buying or falling" is the common mentality of many businesses, and this may give the textile companies a strong rebound and insert "wings." Since the economic recovery, the textile industry has rebounded strongly. The prices of cotton and cotton yarn have been rising all the way. This has encouraged many companies. In the face of rising yarn prices, companies compete to buy, and some buyers even double orders.

Calmly respond to the "unusual" hot

This year's prosperous situation in the textile industry has really excited the owners of the textile industry. However, besides the excitement, they all know that this kind of hot weather is not the norm.

At present, the price per ton of cotton has risen by 1,500 yuan, while the price of cotton yarn has risen by 3,000 yuan, and fabrics have also risen slightly. However, textile end-product apparel has barely risen, and the value on the industrial chain has not been reasonably continued.

"I think we should still be a bit more robust. Do not lose our calm because of the current prosperous situation." Cao Junhai, chairman of Jiaozuo Haihua Textile Co., Ltd., said, "We must take advantage of the good situation, strengthen internal cultivation, strengthen brand building, and take the difference." The road."

The textile industry is a pillar industry in Henan, and the spindle size and output are among the best in the country. However, only a handful of brands can call the country. In the aspect of products, Henan textile enterprises mainly produce primary products of cotton yarn. The products are single, the added value is low, and the homogenization competition is fierce.

With the arrival of Foxconn in Zhengzhou, the employment of Henan textile companies will also become the focus of attention. At present, the treatment of employees in Henan textile enterprises is relatively low, not only with the coastal area is not a small gap, but in terms of other industries in Henan Province, the overall lack of.
