2.1 Measures to improve reliability and maintainability at the same time
(1) Simplify the design as much as possible, that is, make the circuit as simple as possible, the number of components is small, the variety is small, and the integration is high;
(2) Standardize, systematize, and generalize components and components as much as possible;
(3) The numerical control software adopts modular design as much as possible.
2.2 Measures to improve reliability and reduce costs
Try to replace the hardware with software to achieve the desired functionality. The cost of software is relatively low, and the reliability is relatively high. When the running speed requirement is not very high, the function of the software should be fully utilized. To reduce the number of components and improve the reliability of the system.
2.3 Common measures for reliability growth of CNC systems
(1) Improve the reliability of weak links and adopt redundant design in key parts;
(2) Optimize the type of parts and use electrical devices to reduce the load to reduce the failure rate;
(3) The design circuit considers inheritance;
(4) Consider the protection of transient current and voltage. Design circuits that are not sensitive to component parameter drift as much as possible;
(5) Minimize the number of contacts and improve the quality of the contacts. The plug of the printed board is connected by two sides;
(6) Adopt anti-interference design of hardware. Such as isolation of power supply interference, optical isolation of strong and weak electricity, shielding of electromagnetic interference, etc.; these measures are taken to prevent software loss and change, so as to improve the reliability of software operation;
(7) Anti-interference in software design, such as the ability to automatically eliminate the value of the ultra-limit; can automatically determine the illegal data to remove the well.
For example, in the GICC numerical control system, in order to improve reliability, an emergency stop function is set. In the event of an accident, press the STOP button, the knife holder stops moving immediately, and the STOP text is displayed in the upper right corner of the screen, and the subsequent operation after the emergency stop is considered. This can avoid too much trouble.
2.4 Common measures to improve the maintainability of CNC systems
(1) Simplified maintenance. Reduce the difficulty and complexity of maintenance; reduce the number and time of repairs; reduce the number of maintenance personnel and requirements for repair equipment; use components with good interchangeability.
(2) Improve the detectability of faults. The design is more concentrated and does not require disassembly detection points to facilitate detection and fault location.
(3) Designing accessibility to make repair, update, and maintenance of faulty components or components easy.
(4) Perform maintenance and safety design. Ensure the safety of maintenance operations; design to prevent maintenance personnel from wearing electric shock; add obvious warning to potentially unsafe parts.
